  • WHAT IS ACE / AMS FILING

    ACE filing (formally known as AMS filing) is Cargo Information Filing rules for Freight Forwarders. Applicable for all Import and Export Shipments to United States.

  • ACE REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINE

    Exporters must declare ACE filing for US shipments within 48 hours prior to shipment departure.

    ACE Filing can be delegated to freight forwarders and this is a common practice.

  • FAILURE TO FILE ACE

    Failure to meet with ACE / AMS rules will result in boarding refusal, held at port of discharge or fines.

ACE SETUP REQUIREMENTS

What you need to start ACE Filing

Register for FMC License, Bonds (NVOCC and Customs) and SCAC Code

Step 1

To start ACE Filing, you need to acquire FMC license and the equivalent bonds such as NVOCC Bond, C3 Bond, etc. We will help you to set up everything.

Register ACE / AMS Account with US Customs
 

Step 2

Once completed all requirements, you can register an ACE Filing account with CPB.
Approval time: 10 business days.

Set up ACE / AMS Account with GOL.

Step 3

Once CPB approved your account, we will set up your filing system within 2 business days.
