ACI Filing (or also known as eHBL Filing) is Advance Cargo Filing Rules for Export Shipments to Canada. Shipments in transit in Canada need to file under Supplementary Cargo Filing (S10).
ACI eHBL or S10 Filing must be completed 24 hours prior to shipment departure.
Failure to meet with ACI eHBL rules will result in boarding refusal, held at port of discharge or fines. Freight forwarders must complete ACI filing directly and is not allowed to delegate ACI Filing to carriers
