ACI Egypt declaration, also known as eHBL declaration, is an advance cargo information declaration to Egyptian Customs using a blockchain platform, CargoX.
Importers must declare ACID number 48 hours prior to shipment departure.
Exporters must declare export documents prior to shipment arrival at Egypt.
Direct Shipper - Exporter must declare ACI via CargoX Filing System.
Freight forwarders (for consolidated shipments) - must file Master ACID and ACI filing via CargoX Filing system.
Failure to meet with ACI Egypt rules will result in boarding refusal or discharge refusal.
CargoX is a document filing platform. Using blockchain, documents submitted to the Egypt Customs will be verified and accepted as original copies.
Exporters need to sign up and verify their entity on Cargo platform.

Sign up for a CargoX account and complete the verification process. (DUNS number required).
Each shipment export to Egypt must include an ACID number. Shipper must provide their CargoX ID to consignee to complete the ACID number filing.
ACID Number must be declared and verified by ocean carriers 48 hours prior to shipment departure.
Declare ACI Egypt with your export documents (HBL, Invoice, Packing and C/O). Invoice format must follow Nafeza template.
